| Car Cruiser Carissima |
Hi,
We have been looking to find a home for a caravan
we 'inherited' when we moved into our house. We
are not a caravanning family, but we would like
to find a home for the caravan rather than have
to dispose of it via the angle grinder route.
The caravan is a Carissima Car Cruiser, hence my
e-mail to you and your club.
It is old, possibly early 60's. Apparently it has
toured all over Europe. It currently looks a bit
sorry for itself externally, as it has not been
moved since the late eighties. It has flat tyres
and I would imagine the axle has seized. It would
need trailer transportation. That said, it is
original inside and is watertight. The wooden
floor, needs some attention, near the door. It is
currently used by us for storage, but we would
like to build a garden patio area. It is made by
OG Lywood Ltd Cambs.
The details on the a frame at the front read;
H 7.7
L 13.5
w 6.4
Body No 64
Model 10.2
Would any of your club members like it? It
obviously needs work, either as a restoration
project or use for parts. Please let us know. We
are in Epsom, Surrey. Happy for someone to come
and look if interested.

| AGM |
This years AGM was held at Hallaton in
Leicestershire.
A great weekend was had by all who attended,
although only 8 vans could make it. The AGM was
followed by a Faith Supper which was a great
success.
on the Sunday a number of the club went to the
local pub for Sunday lunch, which was enjoyed by
all. The afternoon we were entertained with a
Cricket match on the field follwoed by live
entertainment and a BBQ for those who wished to
join in.
